My passion lies in learning and development. It fuels my ambition to help people excel in their roles—each in an authentic way—and to grow together as a team or group. My expertise lies at the intersection of organizations, their culture, their leaders, and the personal development they undergo in their roles.
My clients—individuals, teams, and organizations alike—appreciate the calm and space I bring, creating a foundation from which they can engage with their challenges. My ‘spot-on’ yet respectful observations and direct style are highly valued. As a result, our conversations deepen. Emotions, doubts, and dilemmas are welcomed at the table. Blind spots, unproductive patterns, and new perspectives become visible. Clients take ownership and discover their growth paths within their own possibilities and the framework of their team and organization.
I bring nearly 40 years of experience in various contexts and roles. I started my career as a freshly graduated social geographer at a steel company. With that experience, I went on to contribute to public organizations. Without a technical background, I worked in IT companies. As a coach with corporate experience, I led and successfully sold a high-tech start-up. In all these different roles, I’ve been able to build connections as a relative outsider by facilitating: asking questions, highlighting different perspectives, and placing responsibility where it belongs.
Outside of work, I enjoy cycling and hiking in the Netherlands and Switzerland. I make frequent use of my museum pass. I love to read and am currently practicing golf. Last summer, I discovered the fascinating world of scuba diving. I am single and have three adult children whom I enjoy visiting in the Netherlands, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
