It is my passion to empower leaders, employees, teams, and organizations—guiding them toward lasting growth, results, and connection. For me, it’s not just about the numbers; it’s about people development, the quality of collaboration, and unlocking each individual’s natural potential. My strength lies in creating movement where things get stuck—bringing clarity, energy, and connection.
My approach is shaped by a unique blend of experiences: a background in top-level sports as a semi-professional footballer, several years as an auditor at Deloitte working with clients like RBS, ABN AMRO, and Kempen & Co, and over 14 years in talent development. I understand what it takes to perform at a high level—and how to inspire people to achieve it together.
From the football field to the playing field of organizations—with the same drive but a different kind of impact. I’m still playing, but now my goal is to help leaders, teams, and organizations win. I believe in leadership based on ownership, responsibility, and trust. I work from a place of equality, standing alongside teams and leaders—not above them. My role is not to dictate, but to create the space in which people take ownership, make decisions, and steer sustainable change.
Born in Aruba and shaped by 40 years in the Netherlands—from the quiet of Frisian farmland to the fast pace of Amsterdam, where adaptability is key—I’ve now returned to my birthplace with my family. Here, I blend the best of both worlds: Caribbean warmth and people-centeredness with Dutch clarity, structure, and results focus.
My knowledge, skills, and professional attention are especially focused on leadership development, team dynamics, culture change, and organizational growth. In these processes, I combine the goal orientation of sport with organizational insight, human leadership, and strategic thinking. I work with and for organizations that want to make a difference—in performance and in their impact on employees, customers, and society.
